Our Herd Does

Apricot

Apricot is a doe who thus far has done well producing quality kids. She herself is quite friendly and very ease to handle. Pedigree includes Sunnyboy 117 aka "Lover boy" and SKY Warsaw.

Purebred

Dorothy

Dorothy is a pure black doe here on the farm and is best friends with Eleanor. She has produced outstanding kids, and her favorite flavor of snacks is apple. Pedigree includes Sunny 117 "Lover boy" and SKY Warsaw.

Purebred

Eleanor

Best friends with Dorothy, Eleanor is a lovely creamy brown colored Doe with little white specks across her coat. Playful with young children who have visited the farm, Eleanor is certainly a charming doe and has produced some of the nicest kids on the farm despite her slightly smaller size. Pedigree includes COO Iron Horse and SKY S 408 Sports KAT.

Purebred

Lily

Lily is our only commercial Kiko doe on the farm and even though she may not be registered, do not think it is because she does not make weight. Lily, who has been nicknamed "Big Birtha," is an impressive Doe who has often been mistaken for a Buck. Lily even produced triplets her first kidding. We are not certain of Lily's pedigree as she came from a commercial herd, she may contain some Boer, but her sire was huge.

Commercial

Nutmeg

While a little on the skittish side, Nutmeg is a charming goat with plenty of personality. Her favorite fruit is bananas, and she can often be seen grazing with her best friend, Lily. Pedigree includes COO Iron Horse, SKY Warsaw, and SKY WOI Black Paradox.

Purebred

Rhubarb

Rhubarb is known for bringing forth into this world exceptional kids. Her first year with triplets she weened an impressive 176 pounds of kids. Pedigree includes COO Iron Horse, Sunnyboy 117 "Lover boy," Blue's son, SKY WARSAW, and SKY S 408 Sport KAT.

Purebred

River

Daughter of Rhubarb, River is an impeccable doe who we fought long and hard to acquire. Friendly with everyone and everything, she is one of our favorites does and is the first to greet you at the gate. She is also a high performer raising triplets her first kidding. Pedigree includes COO Iron Horse, Sunnyboy 117 "Lover boy," Blue's son, SKY WARSAW, and SKY S 408 Sport KAT.

Purebred

Our Herd Sires

Bubba

Son of Rhubarb and brother to Forrest, Bubba is an impressive buck who has exceptional genetics and nice temperament. While not as friendly with people, he is very docile with other bucks but still easy to handle. Pedigree includes COO Iron Horse, SKY WARSAW, and SKYS408 Sports KAT.

Purebred

Ozzy

From another farm in Pennsylvania, Ozzy is an impressive buck who gets the job done. Named after Ozzy Osbourne, he has several characteristics that he shares with his namesake. Friendly with people, he is a proven and reliable sire. Notable pedigree includes LLF Spot and COO Iron Horse.

Purebred

Forrest

Son of Rhubarb and brother to Bubba, Forrest is the friendliest herd sire on the farm with the most color. Great genetics and even better weight, he is by far a fan favorite of everyone who comes to visit the farm. Pedigree includes COO Iron Horse, SKY WARSAW, and SKY S 408 Sports KAT.

Purebred

All-In

From down south, All-In is the newest herd sire and a very handsome young buck. All-In participated in the 2023 West Virginia buck test, who placed 54th out of 231 bucks overall on the test (top 23%). His average fecal egg count (FEC) was 50 tying for 5th place. His average daily gain (ADG) was .53lbs/day. His rib-eye area (REA) was 12th place (top 5%). His biggest rivel happens to be Ozzy as they are competing in a beard growing contest. He is quickly growing addicted to snacks. Pedigree includes COO Iron Horse, Sunnyboy 117 "Loverboy," and TAY Onyx.

Our Herd Wethers

Aspen

Aspen is our big boy on the farm and will eat just about anything put in front of him, may it be food or tractor wires. Even though he is now considered retired after his many years of service, he still likes to help with the many projects here on the farm as a supervisor (he doesn't actually help).

Commercial Boer

Maxon

Only three days younger than Aspen, Maxon is also considered retired here on the farm. Known for his love for pretzels and other little snacks, Maxon is also quite the little helper (that is a lie, he is worse than Aspen). In addition to loving pretzels, he like to rip the bark off of trees sheerly because we tell him not to.
